Gondwana Bonanza on Black Friday
The 2022 Black Friday Bonanza took place on 25 November 2022, where Gondwana Collection Namibia made 6000 vouchers available to Gondwana Membership holders to purchase.
The sales were accompanied with a day long programme of content and information. This programme can be viewed here (Gondwana Bonanza 2022 Part 1 and Part 2).
Congratulations to all who were able to purchase vouchers. For those who were not so lucky, please be back next year.
The vouchers purchased are valid from 01 December 2022 until 30 June 2023. Each voucher can be used to book 1 night, for 1 person at specified Gondwana Collection properties and include bed & breakfast. All children over the age of 6 years old, will need a voucher to secure bookings. Children under die age of 6 years old, stay free of charge.

How does the Gondwana Bonanza work?
On 25 November 2022, a draw takes place hourly between 7:00 and 17:00.
Every hour, 600 vouchers are made available (100 vouchers for N$250.00, 500 vouchers for N$500.00)
From the registered Gondwana Card Membership holders, 60 names are drawn per hour; each individual has the option to purchase 10 vouchers.
The first 10 names drawn will have access to ten N$250.00 vouchers each; the additional 50 individuals will have access to ten N$500.00 vouchers each.
Winners will be notified via SMS and email, and will have 60 minutes to confirm purchase by submitting payment.
An additional person can win a Namushasha River Villa voucher every hour in a lucky draw.

What must the Gondwana Card member do on Black Friday?
On Black Friday, 25 November, the Gondwana Card member who registered for Black Friday previously, must keep an eye on his/her sms and emails or the Gondwana Livestream.
If you are a winner and eligible to buy low-priced vouchers, you receive a notification with a unique payment link.

Gondwana Bonanza - Terms & Conditions
1. General Information
The Gondwana Bonanza is a live show on Gondwana Collection’s YouTube Channel and Facebook on the occasion of Black Friday.
Date: 25 November 2022
Time: 7:00 – 17:00
Participation is reserved for Gondwana Card members.
Gondwana Card members must register to participate in the Gondwana Bonanza. Registration period is from 1 – 20 November 2022. Register here
All registered card members become eligible to “win” the opportunity to purchase Black Friday vouchers, through a lucky draw system.
The following vouchers are available:
- Voucher type 1: N$250.00
- Voucher type 2: N$500.00
- Voucher type 3: Free stay at Namushasha River Villa
Voucher types 1 and 2 are redeemable for 1 person for 1 night on a B&B basis at any Gondwana accommodation. This offer excludes The Secret Collection (Desert Whisper & Namushasha River Villa), The Weinberg Windhoek, Okapuka Safari Lodge and Klein-Aus Vista (Desert Horse Inn, Eagle’s Nest, Geisterschlucht Cabin).
Voucher types 1 and 2 are redeemable for children aged 6 years and older. No further child discounts will be applied.
Voucher type 3 is redeemable for 2 persons for 1 night on a full board basis.
Vouchers are valid for stays between and including 1 December 2022 – 30 June 2023.
2. Proceedings during the Gondwana Bonanza
A draw takes place every hour; this results in a total of 10 raffles during the 10-hour Gondwana Bonanza.
Sixty (60) names are drawn per hour; each individual has the option to purchase 10 vouchers.
- Each hour on the hour, the first ten (10) names drawn will have access to purchase Voucher type 1 (N$250.00),
- 30 minutes later, an additional fifty (50) individuals will have access to purchase Voucher type 2 (N$500.00).
- One (1) individual can win a Namushasha River Villa voucher every hour in a lucky draw. Voucher is free of charge.
Winners will be notified via SMS and email, and will receive a unique link to the payment portal. Vouchers can be paid by debit or credit card or via PayToday. Please ensure that your debit or credit card is able to make online payments/purchases.
Winners will have 60 minutes to confirm purchase by submitting payment.
If purchase is not confirmed the available vouchers are sent back into the pot. Furthermore, this purchase is valid only once; if winners' purchase fewer than 10 vouchers, they cannot return to purchase the remaining vouchers at a later stage.
Buying limit of 10 vouchers per person per payment.
The “winners” of each draw will not take part in any further lucky draws.
The entire draw/sale process will be broadcast LIVE over various social media channels, including YouTube & Facebook.
An auditor from an independent auditing firm will be present to supervise the draws and system utilised.
3. Accommodation Bookings with Black Friday Vouchers
Booking requests will be accepted from 1 December 2022.
Vouchers can only be used via our direct booking office. Vouchers will not apply to online webstore bookings.

The use of the Black Friday vouchers is directly linked to the purchaser’s Gondwana Card Membership number. Therefore, vouchers are not transferable to persons who are non Gondwana Card Members.
However, the purchaser can make a booking in his or her name and use the vouchers for other Gondwana Card members.
The use of the Black Friday Vouchers is reserved for Gondwana Card members only.
The reference and voucher number/s must be supplied to make a booking.
Vouchers are not redeemable for cash; they are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
All vouchers expire on 30 June 2023; there will be no refunds for unused or lost vouchers.
