Congratulations to Promiseland on the success of its annual Bingo Night fundraiser, an evening marked by generosity, excitement, and strong community support.
The event is a key fundraising initiative that brings together partners, supporters, and community members to raise vital funds for Promiseland’s work in the Walvis Bay area. This year, Gondwana Care Trust contributed sponsored accommodation vouchers valued at N$22,504.00, which were auctioned during the evening and helped boost fundraising efforts.

Thanks to this support and the generosity of attendees, Promiseland raised an impressive N$103,050.00, which will directly support its programmes for vulnerable children.
Located in an informal settlement outside Walvis Bay, Promiseland has grown from a small kindergarten into a pre-primary school and homework centre. It provides early learning, academic support, health education, and a safe space for children, supported by qualified teachers and assistants. The centre also offers essential resources such as internet access and printing facilities for learners who may not have access to these at home.

In 2025, Gondwana Care Trust further strengthened Promiseland’s impact by funding seven refurbished computers and four tablets equipped with Wi-Fi and educational software. These tools enhance digital literacy, support learning across age groups, and help prepare learners for future education and employment opportunities.
Promiseland is also supported through the Trust’s MealForTwo project, ensuring children receive nutritious meals alongside their education, supporting both wellbeing and academic growth.
