The historic inaugural match at the new FNB Namibia Cricket Grounds in Windhoek last year, where Namibia’s team secured a remarkable four-wicket victory over the South Africa Proteas in a landmark T20 International, marked a powerful new chapter in Namibia’s sporting story.
In recognition of this milestone, the Namibian national cricket team gifted 11 signed jerseys to RMB Namibia, the official naming sponsor of the national men’s team, now proudly known as the FNB Eagles, as well as the new FNB Namibia Cricket Ground. The gesture acknowledged RMB’s role in supporting the growth of cricket and the development of sport in Namibia.
RMB Namibia then selected a small group of special clients and partners to share in this historic moment. These were organisations chosen not only for their long-standing relationships, but for their meaningful contribution to and deep appreciation of the Namibian story.
