Visit to Self-Sufficiency Centre

Guests are welcome to visit the butchery and smokery at the Self-Sufficiency Centre, where much of the meat for all the Gondwana Lodges is processed. Kindly note that there are no other activities at Kalahari Farmhouse, however guests are welcome to take part in the activities offered at Kalahari Anib Lodge 30 km away. Guests must arrange their own transport to Kalahari Anib Lodge.

Can campers book activities at Kalahari Farmhouse Campsite? 

While there are no activities available on-site, guests can easily drive 30 kilometres to the sister property, Kalahari Anib Lodge. There, campers can book the Bushman Wisdom Experience to learn about southern Africa's indigenous hunter-gatherers or book a guided sunset game drives over the fiery red Kalahari dunes, complete with sundowner drinks.
