Construction progress for new Secret Collection accommodation

Gondwana Collection Namibia is pleased to announce that construction work on its latest exclusive accommodations near Etosha National Park and in the Kalahari is progressing according to schedule. As part of the Secret Collection, each retreat will offer a unique luxury experience for two, seamlessly blending natural surroundings and modern luxury. 

Name change from The Nest to Reverie Kalahari Pod

Following interested feedback on the announcement of the newest addition to the Secret Collection, as well as a unique opportunity to revisit this product's identity, Gondwana Collection Namibia took some time to reconsider the name of the Kalahari Pod. The Nest is now called Reverie Kalahari Pod. Inspired by the tranquil daydream that awaits guests when they arrive at this pod, reverie means "to be pleasantly lost in one's thoughts”. It is situated amidst the red Kalahari dunes, just 30 kilometres north-east of Mariental and is inspired by the timeless Khoi San traditions. A true sanctuary for the senses with a private pool and unrivalled views of a private waterhole. The opening is planned for 1 December 2024.

The Ekipa Etosha Pod

Located a mere 10 kilometers from Etosha National Park's Andersson Gate, The Ekipa will open its doors on 1 February 2025. Named after a handmade jewelry button of the Aawambo women symbolizing wealth and tradition, The Ekipa offers exclusive access to African culture and wildlife. Encounter Etosha's wildlife in unforgettable ways and relish a distinctive living experience amidst nature's captivating symphony.

Both The Ekipa and Reverie are now available for booking and will be ready to welcome guests starting 1 December 2024.
