After a 2-year break, Klein-Aus Vista is hosting its 10th Standard Bank Mountain Bike Challenge on the 3rd of October 2020. The race has a different format this year and only comprises of one day of cycling.
Tough Namibian riders are up for a real challenge if they join the 95km Ultra Marathon with a 2000m elevation gain and 70 percent on single track. The two other categories are the Full Marathon (60km, 60% single track, 1250m elevation gain) and the Half Marathon (30km, 70% single track, 550m elevation gain).
Join the race organizer Piet Swiegers and his Klein-Aus Vista team for an awesome day out in the Aus Mountains and the surrounding desert with amazing views, friendly people, togetherness and good food, beer and wine afterwards.
The race entry fee per participant is N$ 650.00 and includes a Standard Bank Klein-Aus Vista MTB T- shirt, a sausage roll and a soft drink after the race, as well as a braai buffet on Saturday evening. Entries are open until 28 September 2020.
Accommodation is available at the Desert Horse Inn, Eagle’s Nest Chalets, Geisterschlucht Cabin and at the Klein-Aus Vista Campsite.
