While this year has certainly been one filled with many trials for the Namibian Tourism industry, there is an annual favourite to look forward to. NMH (Namib Media Holdings) is hosting the 22nd Namibia Tourism Expo from 4 – 7 November 2020 at the SKW Hall in Windhoek.
Gondwana Collection Namibia is also exhibiting at this year’s Tourism Expo to remind visitors and further underline the importance of reviving the local tourism sector. Booking facilities will be available and visitors are welcome to apply for a Gondwana Card or collect a Gondwana Card applied for in advance.
Albeit a slightly different set-up this year, including a limited number of visitors allowed into the hall at a time as well as appropriate health and safety measures put into place, the event still aims to communicate the same message. The hope is to create awareness around the importance of tourism for the country as well as nurture networking and communication between service providers in the industry. This is certainly a valuable focus point, in order to foster relationships which - as this year has highlighted – ensure a sense of resoluteness in trying times.
Visit this year’s Tourism Expo, support our tourism industry and start planning your holiday getaway in Namibia!
