The Namibia Training Authority (NTA), through WorldSkills Namibia (WSN), recently successfully hosted the 4th National Skills Competition (NSC2025) at the MTC Dome in Swakopmund. The week-long event brought together 165 competitors, 50 training institutions, and representatives from all 14 regions in a definitive display of the country's commitment to advancing its Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.
Contestants competed across 16 diverse skill areas, ranging from cooking, restaurant services, water technology, and mechanical engineering to web technology, hairdressing, and air conditioning. With 50 training institutions participating, the event served as a powerful national platform to elevate the standards of vocational excellence and showcase the high-Caliber talent emerging from Namibia's training institutions, reaffirming its role as one of the country’s most inclusive and impactful platforms for advancing vocational excellence.
