Our heartfelt thanks go to each and everybody who contributed to the Gondwana Care Trust Golf Day on 5 July 2024. To all the participants, sponsors and helping hands who contributed to the success.

Together we raised more than N$180.000 for the Gondwana Care Trust.

Swing it for a Good Cause!

Since 2021, the Gondwana Care Trust, along with DZ Golf has combined efforts to host the annual Gondwana Care Trust Golf Day.

The aim of the golf day is to raise funds, which will be used to support different social and environmental projects supported by the Gondwana Care Trust. The ultimate goal for this day is to engage with other similar Namibian industry members to further expand the footprint of the Trust to more projects across the country.

And of course, having fun on the wide green of the Omeya Golf Club is a priority!

Gondwana Care Trust

The objective of the Trust has always been to enable independence and empowerment towards the supported projects across Namibia, thereby rarely creating a dependence. The supported projects vary, whereby they reach children and many others too. Through the Back-To-School Christmas Bag Project, you can purchase a bag online, which includes unique necessities such as stationary, books, sweet treats, toys and hygiene products for each child’s needs. Similarly, the MealForTwo Project, makes a great effort to provide balanced nutritious meals for many Namibian communities.

Terms & Conditions

This serves as the official Terms and Conditions for the Gondwana Care Trust Golf Day, henceforth known as the ‘Event’. The event is scheduled to take place on 5 July 2024. Please take note that the date may be subject to change due to travel restrictions or additional force majeure measures as set out in this document.

The main organising party and host of the event is Gondwana Collection Namibia (Pty) Ltd. From this point forward to be listed as the ‘Organiser’.

Entries

18 teams are eligible for the Event (first come first serve basis)

Entries open (tbc).
Entries close on (tbc).
Late entries will not be accepted.

Each team is entitled to a golf cart.

Entries are non-refundable.

Briefing

The Briefing will take place at the Omeya Golf Club on (tbc).

All participants are required to attend the briefing prior to the Event start.

Registration packs (goodie bags) will be handed out to participants.

Tee-off

Please note that the Event day format is subject to change at the discretion of the Organisers.

Tee-off is (tbc).

Transport

The Organiser and sponsor are not responsible for participant transport / transfers.

Visual Material

By Agreeing to these Terms & Conditions and entering to participate in this Event, all participants agree to feature in promotional material (photographic and video) that has taken during this Event.

Participants' Warranties and Disclaimers

By entering and partaking in this event, the participant;

Acknowledges and unconditionally accepts the aforementioned terms and disclosures of the Event as communicated by the Organiser, and undertakes participation in this Event at sole discretion and liability;
Indemnifies the Organiser, property owners, Sponsors and affiliates to the Event from liability for any and all personal loss, damage or injury suffered as a result of their participation in this Event.
