Gondwana Collection Namibia’s key aspects of conservancy partnership

Many of our fellow Namibians end their days with empty stomachs. This knowledge led to the establishment of the MealForTwo Project. The core goal for this project is to reduce the number of Namibians for whom food-insecurity is a daily reality.
The Gondwana Care Trust works with local organizations and soup-kitchens to distribute food supply to the Namibian citizens who can benefit from it most. Food supply comes from various sources; excess meat from the Gondwana Self-sufficiency Centre in Stampriet is shared with projects, schools and hostels. While groceries are shared through the support of Capricorn Foundation, Global United, Seapride and Wecke & Voigts. Partnerships with various business partners enable the donations of foodstuffs on an ad hoc basis. These partners include African Marketing and Kaleidoscope Marketing.
The goal of this project is to include more vegetables and sustainable food items; therefore, all support is readily welcomed.
In 2023, with our partners - The Capricorn Foundation, Global United, The Wecke and Voigts Group, Groote Post, Namibmills and Namib Poultry, Kercon and Seapride and other individual donors, we continued to provide a daily balanced meal to our community partners.
Support and collaboration are always needed. You can get involved by donating to the Gondwana Care Trust and stipulating the reference as MealForTwo. If you would like to enquire on more details please feel free to contact the team via email, at caretrust(at)gcnam.com
