The MealForTwo is a lifesaving project for many vulnerable individuals and children living in difficult situations.
The Gondwana Care Trust, and with it the MealForTwo Programme, were founded in 2017 and since inception have supported thousands of Namibians with a warm meal. The goal for the MealForTwo is for every dinner sold at a Gondwana lodge, an individual in Namibia will receive a balanced meal. Our Impact (2022*):
As tourism continued to recover in Namibia, the aftermath of the last two years of economic strive still ripples through most of the country, especially among our vulnerable communities. We, the Gondwana Care Trust, were even more determined to continue providing much needed food aid to these vulnerable communities. With the help of our partners, the Gondwana Care Trust has provided a calculated total of 229,000 meals to its approx.
4,000 individual beneficiaries in 2022 (*up until mid-Sept 2022).
Since October 2019 when the project was formally started in partnership with Bank Windhoek, we have donated 670,000 meals.
The Gondwana Care Trust would like to take the opportunity to thank Maerua SUPERSPAR Shopping Centre for your partnership in fighting hunger, by allowing us to place a food box in front of the store entrance. Most of all thank you to every shopper who contributed food items to the box during the last month! You made a huge impact.

The Grace Project
The Grace Project organises regular outreach initiatives and combines health and care.
Gondwana Care Trust once again partnered with Grace Organisation for their annual Christmas food hampers.
Thanks to the Rotary Tacoma Sunrise Club, we were able to sponsor 150 food hampers valued at N$420.00 each. These food hampers come at the time when many elderly community members and families have not much to celebrate at the end of the year. To enable many to celebrate Christmas with a meal is a blessing, and we are grateful once again to share the care and love with others.
The total value of the sponsorship is N$63 000.00
We look forward to 2023 to assist further medical outreach whenever possible. We would also like to increase our food hamper number to 200 units. Please kindly donate if you can, by clicking on the heart:

The preparation work is massive and The Grace Team of volunteers is just unstoppable!
They work until late in the evenings the day before to pack each of the food hampers.
On the big day, 17 November, the Christmas food hampers were handed out. We thank you all for your support towards the MealForTwo, and in particular the Rotary Club of Tacoma Sunrise.
Each community member received a warm meal, and they wished for a piece of cake to celebrate the year end, which was made possible through donations.
