Investing in people remains at the heart of the Gondwana Collection approach to hospitality and skills development. This commitment was recently celebrated as employees received French language certificates through a collaborative programme with the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC).
Launched in April 2025 as a pilot initiative, the programme formed part of Gondwana Collection’s broader vision to strengthen cultural exchange, professional growth and service excellence within Namibia’s tourism industry. Running until September 2025, the course gave employees the opportunity to develop practical French communication skills while earning internationally recognised certifications.
The programme was designed to help employees engage more confidently with French-speaking guests, an important tourism market for Namibia. Beyond language development, participants also gained valuable cross-cultural communication skills and enhanced professionalgrowth opportunities.
