The world’s largest online travel site TripAdvisor highly acknowledged Gondwana’s continuous investments into unique accommodation establishments and service excellence.
Gondwana Collection Namibia is proud to announce that seven (7!) lodges have been recognised as a TripAdvisor “Hall of Fame” winner. All these lodges have received a “Certificate of Excellence” for five consecutive years.
Nine more lodges of the Gondwana group received the “Certificate of Excellence 2019”. This TripAdvisor award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve great traveller reviews with a minimum of 4 from 5 points.
“We’d like to thank all of our past guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor,” says Bernd Otto Grahl, Gondwana’s Online Marketing Manager. “Your feedback is highly appreciated and enables us to continuously improve on our guest experience. There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by one’s customers.”
TripAdvisor branded sites make up the largest online travel community in the world, reaching 490 million unique monthly visitors (TripAdvisor internal log files, Q3 2018), and more than 730 million reviews and opinions covering 8.1 million accommodations, airlines, restaurants and attractions. The branded sites operate in 49 countries worldwide.
Gondwana’s Managing Director, Gys Joubert, is grateful for the TripAdvisor awards and praises the employees for their commitment and excellent customer service. “I have said it before and I will say it many times more: Gondwana’s biggest asset is not something that you will find on our balance sheet, it is our people. This is an external confirmation from our guests of the Gondwana family’s culture and values. Gondwana’s TripAdvisor Hall of Fame winners are Canyon Lodge, Canyon Village, Canyon Roadhouse, Kalahari Anib Lodge, Kalahari Farmhouse, Hakusembe River Lodge and Klein-Aus Vista Desert Horse Inn.
The Certificate of Excellence 2019 has been awarded to Chobe River Camp, Namushasha River Lodge, Etosha Safari Lodge, Etosha Safari Camp, Damara Mopane Lodge, Namib Desert Lodge, Namib Dune Star Camp, Klein-Aus Vista Eagle’s Nest and The Delight Swakopmund
