What is Hop'n'Go2?
A free city shuttle for visitors. Following the success of our Windhoek launch in October, we're bringing Gondwana hospitality to Swakopmund this festive season. We aim to keep tourists safe, reduce walking distances, and introduce our friendly approach to anyone exploring the coast.
How It Works (3 steps)
Spot the Shuttle – Look for the bright yellow Hop'n'Go2 cars.
Hop In – Our trained driver will provide you with a safe, complimentary ride.
Enjoy the Ride – Enjoy good conversation while arriving at your destination safely.

When & Where
• Service period: Friday 5 December 2024 – Friday 2 January 2025
• Operating days: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (excluding public holidays: 10, 25, 26 December & 1 January)
• Service hours: 18:00 – 22:00
• Service area: Within Swakopmund city limits (not across the bridge towards Longbeach, not all the way to Rossmund or the river plots, and not further than Mile 4)

Terms & Conditions
- Hop’n’Go2 rides are complimentary in designated areas.
- No payment is required, but tipping is allowed.
- Service is not bookable.
- Shuttles operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The service runs only during the pilot period (October in Windhoek, December in Swakopmund).
- All drivers are employed by Gondwana Collection Namibia on a freelance basis and are required to carry visible identification.
- Vehicles are GPS-tracked for added peace of mind.
- Passengers are expected to wear seatbelts at all times.
- Short in-city trips only—drivers may decline requests outside designated areas.
- Not intended to replace regular taxi and shuttle services.
- Gondwana takes reasonable measures to ensure safety but is not liable for lost items or circumstances beyond operational control.
- Passengers and drivers are expected to treat each other with respect and courtesy.
- Gondwana reserves the right to refuse service in cases of unsafe behaviour.
- You agree to be bound to these terms when using the "Hop'n'Go2" complimentary service.
