Education has always been one of the Gondwana Care Trust’s focus points. Following successful years of uplifting communities and projects across Namibia, the Trust realised that the ultimate field to have an impact in, is that of education. Through the development and bettering of the education system, the Trust intends to alleviate the poverty of opportunity. Essentially, equalising schools across the country for all learners to have access to quality education.
This is done through partnership with a proudly Namibia project and organisation, Eduvision Online Learning.
Eduvision Online Learning (EOL) is a modern development based organisation focusing on e-learning in Namibia. Founded in 2018, Eduvision focuses on the improvement of the teaching processes in rural areas to ensure that children in smaller communities receive the same quality training as learners in urban areas. By reimagining the teaching and learning process in a way that better serves the learners and the educators, Eduvision uses E-learning and technology to make this dream a reality.
To ensure that the schools (both learners and educators) can properly benefit from this system, Eduvision supplies all hardware, software and technical backing and training, to ensure that the systems are used in a seamless way.
All expenses for internet connectivity and maintenance is carried by Eduvision and the team visits each partner school once a month to check up on the school’s progress and offer support.
This means that the project is heavily dependent on financial donations and support. For more information on how you can get involved, please contact us at caretrust(at)gcnam.com
