Khomas Region Projects

Operating in Windhoek, Dagbreek caters to differently-abled children. The school receives support from MealForTwo and learners also receive Back-to-School Christmas Bags.

Located in Pioneers Park, Windhoek, this Old Age Home receives support from MealForTwo and ad hoc support when possible.

Operating in Windhoek, this project houses and cares for the social welfare of children from troubled backgrounds. The project receives support from MealForTwo. This project is also a Back-to-School Christmas Bag Project beneficiary. 

This project operates both in Windhoek, and Swakopmund. The programme supports job-seekers in acquiring the skills needed to find employment. The project receives support from MealForTwo, and provide food parcels to active members of the programme and attend regular meetings. 

Established in 2017 this organisation support aspiring beauty contestants and through that support various charitable organisations and advocate for orphans.

This public school is located in Okahandja Park, in Windhoek. Ninety-one learners are enrolled in this primary school. Support is provided in the form of education material, etc when possible.

The school is also a Back-to-School Christmas Bag Project beneficiary.

The Association is active across the country, and receives support with their outreach programmes in the form of accommodation and meals. As well as support in their fundraising initiatives.

Based in Khomasdal and Katutura, this shelter provides prepared meals to homeless people in the area. They also offer counselling and second-hand clothing when available. The project is supported by MealForTwo.

Located in the Katutura District, this project is part of the Unicorn Organisation, and provides a meal to the children in the area. The educational centre has approximately 70 children enrolled, and offer after-school care and support.

The centre receives support from MealForTwo and is also a beneficiary of the Back-to-School Christmas Bag Project.

Khomas Homeless Development Trust: +-80 Adults and 20 Kids. Operates in Khomasdal and Katutura, Windhoek providing cooked meals to homeless people in those communities. 

Meal For Two beneficiary – delivery of goods to the community – hygienic products, masks, cleaning material, educational materials, second hand clothing, blankets, food containers...

Based in Khomasdal, this project supports food-insecure households. They also arrange access to medical check ups and offer support to the elderly and vulnerable communities.

This project receives support from MealForTwo.

Operating in Otjomuise, this project provides a meal and a safe haven for the vulnerable children in the community. The organisation receives support from MealForTwo.

The project also offers the children’s mothers access to training and a platform to sell handmade goods. The project is also a beneficiary of the Back-to-School Christmas Bag Project.

Located in Katutura, this project provides food parcels and cooked meals to children in the community. They receive support from MealForTwo. They are also a Back-to-School Christmas Bag Project beneficiary.

Located in Katutura, this organization offers a loving home and meals to orphaned and abandoned children living with HIV and other debilitating illnesses.

They receive support from MealForTwo and are a Back-to-School Christmas Bag beneficiary.

This organisation offers meals and afterschool homework support and physical activities to children in the Katutura area who are from disadvantaged backgrounds. They also offer extra-curricular activities over weekends.

The organisation receives assistance with hardware, including computers, air conditioning etc. As well as MealForTwo support and benefit from the Back-to-School Christmas Bags.

This organisation offers meals and afterschool homework support and physical activities to children in the Katutura area who are from disadvantaged backgrounds. They also offer extra-curricular activities over weekends.

The organisation receives assistance with hardware, including computers, air conditioning etc. As well as MealForTwo support and benefit from the Back-to-School Christmas Bags.

This pre-primary has about 43 learners and operates from Katutura. Here the children receive a meal and they also support 11 elderly people.

The school receives support from the Back-to-School Christmas Bag Project.

A wellness and mental health workshop was offered to employees of the Hospital. Support was provided in the form of accommodation.

This Centre offers educational support and extra-curricular activities, including archery and skills development, to the children in the Khomas Region. The centre also provides a meal to the learners.

They are a beneficiary of the Back-to-School Christmas Bag Project.

This school is located in the Dordabis area and is a recipient of the Back-to-School Christmas Bag Project.
