Value Creation Report 2024
2024 was a landmark year for Namibia and Gondwana Collection Namibia. New opportunities are unfolding that could enable economic green shoots to emerge from the desert soil. The world is changing rapidly and new markets are available for countries and businesses that can respond quickly to the changing local and global priorities. Gondwana is seizing these opportunities to take our proudly Namibian brand beyond tourism.

It is with great pleasure that we introduce Gondwana’s 2023 Value Creation Report. Our report tells the story of what we do, what drives us to do better each year and where we’re going next. After three turbulent years, Gondwana emerged as a strong, evolving business in 2023, well positioned to take up significant opportunities as international tourism normalises and new pockets of economic growth come to the fore in Namibia.
Value Creation Report 2022
2022 was a watershed year for Gondwana – a year of overcoming challenges, making courageous decisions to secure our future, and drawing strength and resilience from our inner reserves. We remained true to our Gondwana DNA and our hard work paid off. Profitability was restored and we are reminded that our people who maintain our valuable assets and serve our treasured guests with utmost care are the beating heart of our business, our future and our contribution to Namibia.
Value Creation Report 2021
2021 has been another difficult year, with the Covid-19 pandemic, travel restrictions and poor economic conditions. We are hopeful that our best years are still ahead. Despite the challenges, we have remained true to our Gondwana DNA. We have protected the livelihoods of our employees and communities. For 2022 and beyond, we have our eyes on the future and plan to grow and create meaningful value.

Welcome to our 2020 Value Creation Report. This report represents Gondwana Collection Namibia and how we created value in 2020. This has been our most difficult year on record, with the pandemic and lockdown regulations covering our entire peak season (60% of our total revenue). But, as you will read, it was an opportunity to prove our dedication to Namibia’s people, communities and environment.
