The multi-day hikes by Gondwana Collection Namibia through the northern reaches of the awe-inspiring Fish River Canyon were a unique adventure.

After the 2023 hiking season the Fish River Canyon Trails were discontinued. Consequently, the Canyon Klipspringer Camps are no longer available for bookings.

A brief glance back.

Starting in 2007, the hikes were initially offered as Canyon Mule Trekking, with mules carrying the luggage. Since 2017 they were marketed as Canyon Klipspringer Trails and ultimately as Fish River Canyon Trails, always in the cooler winter months from 15 April to 15 September each year.

It was a carefree hiking experience, as luggage and equipment were conveyed between the different self-catering accommodations of the Canyon Klipspringer Camps - namely Klipspringer Base Camp, Battlesnake Camp, Koelkrans Camp and Horseshoe Camp.
