The Gondwana Membership discount is offered on an individual basis. Every person travelling must have a valid Gondwana Membership in order to qualify for the discount. Without a valid membership, full rates will be applied. The general booking and cancellation terms and conditions apply to member bookings.
The Namibian Gondwana Membership applies to Namibian nationals and permit holders – with a valid passport, ID, permanent/temporary residence, study, or work permit.
The SADC Gondwana Membership applies to SADC nationals and permit holders – with a valid passport, ID, permanent/temporary SADC residence, study, or work permit.

A standard Gondwana Membership is valid for five (5) years from the date of approval.
If your membership is based on a temporary government-issued permit (such as a work, study or residence permit), your membership will be valid only for the duration of that permit. Once the permit expires, so does the associated membership.
Example: If your work permit is valid for three months, your Gondwana Membership will also be valid for three months. You are welcome to renew your membership once your permit has been extended or renewed, provided you continue to meet the eligibility requirements.
The Gondwana Membership discount is offered on an individual basis only. So, when making a group booking, you must provide each person's valid Gondwana Membership number to receive the Gondwana member discount for everyone.
In other words, you cannot use your personal Gondwana membership to obtain discounts for other travellers.
No, Gondwana does not have a corporate membership but offers uncomplicated and easy business travel within Namibia including accommodation, and rental cars.
Registered companies become eligible for 20% discount on bed and breakfast accommodation bookings. No additional discounts are received on meals or activities.

Gondwana Memberships have a 5-year term with expiry date 5 years from the date of issue.
Temporary memberships are only valid for the duration of the temporary permit provided.
As from 1 June 2025, Gondwana Collection will no longer print Gondwana Cards. Instead, please keep your Membership number safe! When booking, please quote your Gondwana Membership number, which will be checked for validity against your relevant ID/passport number.
Each holder/applicant needs to have their own Gondwana Membership to qualify for the special rates.
As of 1 June 2025, Gondwana no longer issues physical Gondwana Cards. Instead, members are required to present a valid Gondwana Membership number or positive identification (e.g. ID document, passport) for verification when checking in, and/or paying for dinner and activities.
Your membership credentials may be used for anyone else but yourself. Misuse will lead to suspension of the benefit.
