Rain brings blessings! This year, Namibia received good rainfall in large parts of the country; nature is awakening and the previously dry landscapes are showing a completely different face. New conditions bring new adventures, especially at Hakusembe River Lodge on the banks of the Okavango River.
Boat tours and fishing trips, some of which had to be cancelled at the end of last year due to the low water level, are now possible without restrictions. The Okavango is full to the brim and offers spectacular photo opportunities. The best conditions for a visit to north-eastern Namibia!
The first adventure awaits visitors on arrival: the access road to Hakusembe River Lodge is closed until further notice due to flooding following the heavy rains in the Okavango region.
Please park your vehicle in the safe parking area at the Mupini Health Centre. From there you will be taken to Hakusembe River Lodge by boat. For further information, please call the Hakusembe River Lodge emergency number: +264 81 165 1239.
