Gondwana Collection Namibia and its subsidiaries excelled at the recently concluded Best of Namibia 2024 awards. The awards, launched by Future Media Holdings and Venture Media Publications, are a nationwide initiative dedicated to recognising businesses and organisations that significantly contribute to Namibia's prosperity and growth.
Namibians were encouraged to nominate and vote for the organizations in the different categories, through an online process, which made is accessible to Namibians in all corners of the country.
The awards celebrate excellence across various sectors, shining a spotlight on the remarkable achievements within the Namibian business community. Among this year's distinguished winners were Gondwana Travel Centre, Namibia2Go Car Rental, The Desert Grace, and Etosha Safari Camp, all of which excelled in their respective categories.
Gondwana Travel Centre was nominated for and won the Best Travel Agent/Tour Operator award. Namibia2Go Car Rental claimed the Best Car Rental award, while Etosha Safari Camp won Best Campsite, with its Camping2Go units walking away with the Best Glamping award. The Desert Grace was recognized as the Best Lodge/Safari Camp.
These accolades highlight the vital roles these companies and destinations play in promoting Namibia as a top-tier travel destination. Their commitment to excellence and dedication to providing exceptional service continues to enhance the tourism industry and bolster the nation's growth.
