Gondwana Collection Namibia has again collaborated with local musicians to create a unique cover of a musical classic.
Bill Whither’s Lean on Me has been part of numerous movements over the past decades, and once again 17 month into the Covid-19 pandemic the hope is that the authentic version of the song will offer our fellow Namibians a reason to smile.
Musicians and artists involved in the project include Livinge Dennis on lead vocals, Lin-Mari Coetzee on harmonies, the African Vocals on choir, Sagarias Tsam played lead guitar, Desmond Nanub on keys and bass, and Adam Brandon-Kirby on drums and percussion. The ensemble has created a lively and relatable experience in their rendition.
Furthermore, Gondwana has challenged the Namibian community to share clips of them singing the song, to stand a chance to win 250 accommodation vouchers!
