How are you doing with good intentions for the New Year? Do you perhaps want to exercise a bit more? Gondwana Collection Namibia and Moonraker Outdoor Adventure Restcamp are joining hands and offer you a relaxed yet competitive trail run in the Auas Mountains just outside Windhoek.
Make a note of 18 February and sign up for the 20km, 10km or the less competitive 5km fun & family race. Registration for the Gondwana Green Ridge Trail Run starts on 18 January and closes on 13 February 2023. Entries will take place online via the Gondwana Collection Namibia website.
OSH-Med International will look after the welfare of the athletes and Nova 103.5 will support the event with a live broadcast. Further partners are King Price Insurance and SPAR Namibia.
After the good rains of the last few weeks, the routes lead through the wonderfully green scenery of the African bush. They are clearly marked with directional signage, bunting, ribbons or ground markings. Attractive prizes in the form of value vouchers await the winners in the men's and women's running categories.
Bring family and friends to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee in the morning and a hearty lunch at noon. In the meantime, children are invited to meet the friendly farm animals and those who are brave enough can to take a turn on horseback.

Directions to Moonraker Outdoor Adventure Restcamp
Moonraker is situated 20 km east of Windhoek at the foot of the scenic Auas Mountain Range. Drive from Windhoek on the B6 towards the Hosea Kutako International Airport and turn right just in front of the roadblock. Cross the railway tracks and follow the signage that will lead you to Moonraker. You will need about half an hour for the route.
