After last year's forced break, the Namibia Tourism Expo opens its doors at the SKW grounds in Windhoek today at 14:00. Gondwana Collection Namibia is one of more than 100 exhibitors, and looking forward to a colourful event with many new ideas and an optimistic outlook for the future of the tourism sector in Namibia.
Look out for a large tree in the middle of the SKW hall and you will find the spacious Gondwana stand, where the friendly Gondwana staff from the Sales and Booking departments will be happy to greet and advise you. Gondwana Collection is supporting the Tourism Expo by contributing a Namibia2Go rental car for the transport of the South African band Good Luck, which is providing good humour and best entertainment at the Expo. Furthermore, Gondwana is part of the 'Tourist of the Year' competition and will provide one of the winners with a weekend for two at one of its lodges.
Namibia Media Holdings organises the Tourism Expo with the aim of providing a platform for the local hospitality industry to showcase its products and services to other stakeholders and the general public. It also features Namibian arts and crafts, food, beer and wine tasting and interactive sessions with chefs.
