In a powerful display of community engagement, the Gondwana Care Trust proudly supported the T-Rex Tribe's Aqua Spinning Fundraising event at the Dagbreek School Hostel Swimming Pool on Friday, 8 March 2024. Three spirited teams, each comprised of six dedicated Gondwana Collection Namibia employees, took centre stage, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter, camaraderie, and pure enjoyment.
This impactful fundraiser is specifically geared towards enhancing the facilities at Dagbreek School’s Hostel. The collective efforts of the participants will contribute to crucial upgrades, including the maintenance of the pool, playground, and the introduction of sustainability initiatives like solar geysers. Moreover, there are plans to implement complete solar systems and improve overall infrastructure, encompassing the hall, parking lot, and prospective projects such as campsite development, a tech room, and exciting excursions for the hostel's children during holidays or weekends.
