Gondwana’s new transfer service, launched on 1 June 2023, provides the wonderful opportunity to visit one of the seven wonders of the world with ease. Hop aboard the Go2 transfer bus in the morning, spend three hours savouring the magnificence of the falls and return in the late afternoon invigorated and inspired.
A must-see African destination, Victoria Falls is an earthly celebration where the Zambezi River thunders down in cascades of water, delightful fall showers and glistening rainbows before rushing along to continue its journey through the gorge.
Rated as one of the highlights on Earth with the Grand Canyon, Great Barrier Reef and Aurora Borealis, there is little to compare with this exhilarating experience.
The transfer bus leaves from Zambezi Mubala Camp south of Katima Mulilo and Chobe River Camp near the Ngoma border at 7am and 8am respectively, returning by 6pm in time for supper. With all the cross-border vehicle costs and paperwork dealt with, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the journey. But keep eyes peeled, the first part of the trip is through the Chobe National Park where there is a good chance of spotting elephant and antelope.
Just 200km away from your favourite lodges, Vic Falls is a day trip to be included in every journey to Namibia’s lush Zambezi Region.
