It's no April fool’s joke! Namibia2Go is the first car rental company in Namibia to add hybrid vehicles to its fleet. On 1 April 2022, the first two of a total of twelve Toyota Cross 1.8XS CVT HV will be ready for environmentally conscious renters.

The new rental cars will hit the road immediately: "There is a lot of interest from our customers in more environmentally friendly rental cars," says Namibia2Go manager Wandi van Hout. "The additional 10 hybrid vehicles will be delivered by the end of April, they are a welcome addition to our fleet. As part of Gondwana Collection Namibia, which has been committed to sustainability and nature conservation for 25 years, we can now also contribute towards these goals with our car rental."

The Toyota Cross 1.8XS Hybrid is off-road capable, economical and comfortable. Hybrid technology combines petrol and electric power to deliver the best possible performance and efficiency. While covering more kilometres on a single tank of fuel, you also drive in a more environmentally friendly way thanks to lower carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. The model's average petrol consumption is just 4.3 l/100 km.

The Toyota Cross 1.8XS CVT HV is equipped with the latest safety technology, 2x4 drive and a good ground clearance (161mm). The stylish five-door recreational model offers you the opportunity to enjoy your Namibia holiday to the fullest and with a clear conscience.
