Warmth in Action: Blanket Handover in Rehoboth

Written by Zipporah Nandjala | Jun 26, 2025 11:15:00 AM

On the 25th of June, Gondwana Care Trust had the heartfelt opportunity to bring warmth and comfort to the community of Rehoboth. We handed over 30 blankets to individuals and families who truly needed them, a small act, but one that we hope made a meaningful difference as the colder nights settle in.

A special thank you goes to Ms. Cecilia Ndara, who was able to identify those most in need, including elderly residents and vulnerable households. Each blanket was given with kindness and received with heartfelt gratitude. That’s the kind of impact that goes beyond the physical and touches the soul.

The handover wouldn’t have been possible without the support of everyone who helped along the way. The kindness shared in moments like these leaves a lasting impression, not just on those who receive, but also on those who give.

Being on the ground, seeing the smiles, the quiet thank-you, and the heartfelt “God Bless You” moments, it’s impossible not to be moved. These are the stories we carry with us, the fuel that keeps Gondwana Care Trust going.

We don’t just want to deliver blankets; we want to deliver dignity, compassion, and a reminder that no one is forgotten.
