Starting in June 2025, Gondwana Collection Namibia will introduce a cardless membership programme, making it easier than ever for Gondwana Collection members to enjoy exclusive benefits at Gondwana accommodations. No more physical cards - just easy savings and benefits at your fingertips.
The Gondwana Card, now known as the Gondwana Membership, was introduced in 2007 for a simple reason: the average income in Namibia and other SADC countries is significantly lower than in more developed nations. Through this initiative, Gondwana Collection aimed to make it easier for more people from Namibia and the region to explore our beautiful country. Additionally, Gondwana Collection sought to raise awareness among fellow citizens about the value of nature and the responsible use of our natural assets for tourism.

Existing Gondwana Card holders who have used their physical cards up to now, will automatically transfer to the new digital system. However, this will only happen if your personal details are up-to-date. Please verify your details here.
If you’ve had your Gondwana Card for many years, don’t worry. All your benefits – e.g. lifelong (card) membership – remain unchanged.
However, if you have never updated your personal details in the past, your card number might not correspond to the latest standards. The current Gondwana online booking system requires two letters in front of the numbers:

When booking, all you need to do is provide your Gondwana Membership number, and the membership benefits apply. When checking in at a Gondwana accommodation, your ID or passport number will suffice.
The Gondwana Membership benefits for Namibian and SADC citizens include 50% discount on Gondwana Collection accommodation (40% for SADC), 25% discount on dinner and activities (Ts & Cs apply). The Gondwana Membership also gives you the privilege of benefitting from amazing flash sale discounts.
New members: Simply sign up online and start saving immediately! The once-off application fee is N$300.00, children 6-13 years N$ 150.00.
