On the 1st of September, Gondwana Collection Namibia was awarded the Tourism Service Partner of the Year at the 2026 Creative, Sport, and Tourism (CST) Awards at the National Theatre of Namibia, marking a major milestone for the hospitality group.

Gondwana joined leaders from the creative, sport, and tourism sectors to celebrate the best of Namibian excellence and honour a shared vision for Namibian hospitality.

However, more than that, for Gondwana the nomination itself was a proud moment. Walking away with the Tourism Service Partner of the Year trophy is validation of the values the company lives by each day: sustainable tourism, community empowerment, and a love for Namibia’s natural heritage that is deep.

The category sees businesses that demonstrate reliability, service excellence, and a lasting positive impact on the local travel landscape top an exceptional level.

A proud moment as CEO Gys Joubert displays the Tourism Service Partner of the Year award, recognising the dedication, partnerships, and service excellence that continue to shape memorable Namibian travel experiences.

“Inspiration fills the room when you celebrate people who dare to think differently, create boldly and leave a lasting impact. What an incredible evening at the CST Awards 2026,” shared Pandu Shaanika, Online Marketplace Assistant at Gondwana.

She further emphasised that it is a reminder of what is possible when passion meets purpose. And to have been part of such an inspiring evening celebrating creativity and excellence in tourism is an honour.

Looking ahead, winning this award does not mean the company stand still. This recognition is part of what fuels our dedication to keep delivering high hospitality standards, and investing heavily in the people, communities and environments Gondwana calls home.

Gondwana looks forward to welcoming travellers from different corners of the world and continuing to shape the future of Namibian tourism together.
