The Kalahari. Green acacias and yellow grass on the red sand of Kalahari dunes which extend over hundreds of kilometres. Gondwana Kalahari Park provides you with unforgettable impressions of the world’s largest continuous stretch of sand. This landscape of red dunes and yellow savannah is home to many animals such as oryx antelope, springbok, bat-eared fox and ostrich. It is right here, where Kalahari Anib Camping2Go is situated, 30km northeast of Mariental.
The four safari tents for self-catering guests are situated at the foot of a red Kalahari dune, not even one kilometre away from Kalahari Anib Lodge. They are equipped with four beds each and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. With the fully kitted out kitchen that includes a fridge, stove, sink and all the necessary cooking utensils and cutlery on the outside terrace, it is a hassle-free way of being immersed in nature. There is an outside braai, as well as a fire pit. A golden opportunity to relax around a cosy campfire at night with loved ones.
Campers can also make use of the facilities at Kalahari Anib Lodge, whether treating themselves to tasty meals at the restaurant, taking a dip in one of the pools or partaking in lodge activities. Experience the magic of the Kalahari on a hiking tour, an e-bike ride or on a nature drive around the park.
Kalahari Anib Camping2Go can be booked from 7 April 2019.
